My Dearest Friends,
Greeting you for the upcoming Easter holidays has become a pleasant custom for me.
The Resurrection is hope, it is joy, it is courage, and hope, joy and courage come to us from Christ who dies on the cross and rises; it enters our lives and accompanies us, even when we don't see Him.
Easter day invites us to change, asks us to become new women and new men: renewing ourselves means having the will “to get involved”, to do our best so that inequalities and injustices can be overcome; "taking charge" of the most needy people must be part of our daily life. May our Easter become solidarity with all those in need!
You have done a lot to help us in our mission, and still do it. We are therefore pleased to inform you that the Cité des Jeunes "Nazareth" will enrich this year with a new dormitory, the foundation stone of which was laid during our last mission in July 2019. The inauguration will take place this year and will be entitled to St. John Paul II whose centenary of birth will occur next May 18th.
We must live and share with everyone the hope of being able to change things, because they can be changed.
Therefore, I express to you and your families wishes for a holy and peaceful Easter
... AND VIDE AND CREDITS (Jn, 20, 8)
What did he believe in?
That Jesus was no longer in the power of death, that he was alive forever (...)
The grave was empty, but the heart was full of a presence! And hope rekindled immediately!
